This release celebrates 20 years of the Promise Keepers. Culled from a number of previous releases by high profile Messianic worship leaders such as Paul Wilbur, Joel Chernoff and Marty Goetz, this compilation is relatively low in traditional Judaic musical references, with the exception of Chernoff's 'ew & Gentile' and the Hebrew-sung 'Your Banner Over Me Is Love' by Karen Davis. Indeed, the inclusion of Irish praise man Robin Mark's 'Days Of Elijah' at the hands of Paul Wilbur not only sets the scene for an album of Old Testament references but ensures that this release is varied in style and therefore accessible to all. All in all, this is an ideal introductory album for those unfamiliar with the riches of Messianic praise.
