Twenty Questions Jesus Asked

It can be a surprise to discover just how often Jesus asks questions. We may assume he’s generally in ‘transmit’ mode, preaching and teaching, but in fact he regularly makes searching enquiries of his hearers that disarm them into responding unreservedly. This book tackles twenty such questions, first by entering into the conversation through the eyes and experience of the recipient of the question; second by reflecting on its significance for the contemporary reader; third by asking ‘I wonder’ questions of those using the book, and finally by rounding off with prayer exercises to enhance its usefulness for group study.
