Early Wings Over Africa

In 1950, Mission Aviation Fellowship commenced flying in Africa with just one British De Havilland Rapide flown by the author. Now, 60 years later, MAF has a fleet of some 50 planes flying in Africa and another 80 in the rest of the world. This book tells of the work of the Mission Aviation Fellowship and the growth of the church in Sudan, giving unique insight into the joys and struugles of the early days through the eyes of Steve Stevens DFC.
