The catastrophic earthquake that devasted Haiti in 2010 was the motivation that Dr. David Vanderpool needed to completely change his life to follow the call of Jesus.
After organising medical and logistical relief, the Vanderpools sold everything - surgical practice, home, belongings - to bring much-needed medical care to the people of Haiti. They established LiveBeyond to empower the impoverished. Today, its work continues, providing basic needs such as nutrition and water in addition to health care, education, and agricultural assistance.
