Landscape of Grief, A

A beautiful collection of paintings and reflections to help those who grieve, by inspirational artist and writer Jenny Hawke. This book emerged from a diary Jenny kept whilst her husband was ill, and continued after his death. Grief took her into a different landscape where the world appeared the same, but felt completely alien. Her hope is that this series of reflective daily readings will bring help to those who grieve, who are lost in this new landscape, and who have found their faith challenged and changed. She writes: ‘I believe there is a need for a new honesty regarding grief and faith. Everything changes, but God does not. Finding ourselves and the presence of God again in this very different land takes time and patience. My book also provides material for those who want to support others who are grieving.’
