This piece of art is inspired by the story in Numbers, when Moses sends out 12 spies, one from each tribe to spy the land God had given them. Ten return in fear, because of the giants that live there but two (Caleb and Joshua) return full of joy. Seeing the goodness of that rich land God was giving them, while the others only saw the obstacles. This is a great reminder that even when we see the Red Sea parted and all God's mighty works in our life we need to make sure to know, love and trust the person behind them. It's not the situation that is different but the way Joshua and Caleb see it. When we know Him, His Love and His power personally then all that He says is possible. On the flip side, when we look at our own strength and power and what we think rather than what He says, even the food He gives us we see as evil.
