Explore what the Bible says about who God is, what He does, and what He promises in this Bible study, which is a continuation of the author’s 2022 title, Promised Rest: Finding Peace in God’s Presence. Through Scripture, reflection, and personal stories, readers will consider the names and traits of God. Knowing the names of God reminds us of who He is and gives us confidence in His promises to us. Readers will be encouraged to focus on the gifts God gives us in worship through Word and Sacrament.
Each chapter will focus on a different biblical name of God. Through devotional-style writing, Bible accounts, and Scripture, Promised Hope: Finding Peace in God’s Faithfulness will lead readers to see how God is always at work in their lives.
This study will guide women through eight weeks divided into five daily readings that incorporate Bible study questions to answer, topics to reflect on, and Scripture passages to contemplate.
