Ian Coffey takes us though six of the twelve Minor Prophets. Prophets had a dual task of forth-telling and fore-telling. Their job proved a lonely assignment and many of them suffered because of their obedience to God’s call. We will notice how they listened hard to God, reflected deeply about their world and shared God’s message with courage - qualities we all need to develop as we grow as disciples of Christ. Peter Hicks writes on Ephesians which touches on dozens of great themes but this month its greatest theme ties the study together. To all that is evil in the world today God has the answer: to bring all things together ‘under one head’ - the Lord Jesus Christ. He’s going to be calling us again to make sure that it’s a reality in our own lives, and challenging us to be the people through whom it becomes a reality in the world around us.
