French Bible, Louis Segond Version

The Segond translation was first published in 1880 in Geneva and revised in 1910. Louis Segond (October 3, 1810 – June 18, 1885), was a Swiss theologian who translated the Bible into French from the original Hebrew and Greek.  It is a literal translation in literary style with some archaic wording.  It is the classic French Protestant translation.
