Go West Young Man

Go West Young Man was Michael W. Smith's first major attempt at courting the secular market. The plan worked wonderfully, with the record eventually going platinum, based largely on the success of the single 'Place in This World,' which showcases Smith's sensitive songcraft and emotive vocals. Other standout tunes include 'Love Crusade,' 'How Long Will Be Too Long,' the title track, and the worship classic 'Agnus Dei.'
