Held in the Arms of God

When a person has been diagnosed with cancer the sense of shock, fear and trauma experienced by a whole family cannot be overestimated.  In this series of reflective prayers, Siobhán O’Keeffe captures the thoughts, feelings, anxieties and hopes of those who have been diagnosed with cancer. Appropriate Scripture references have been chosen for each reflection offering words of comfort, encouragement and consolation while a resource section provides further avenues of support and cancer research information. Developments in medical science offer hope to many, but with an uncertain future ahead, our consolation rests in the knowledge that our unknown future is held in the arms of God.
