I Know I'm Special!

Each and every day children are faced with challenges such as meeting new people, dealing with unhappy situations and falling out with friends. An effective PSHE curriculum can help them deal with these challenges effectively. Based on the non-statutory National Framework for RE, I Know I’m Special! is designed to support teachers in helping children develop their skills, knowledge and understanding. The effective activities place emphasis on pupil involvement and encourage them to: think analytically learn from others recognise some of their own biases or preconceptions develop their reasoning skills feel positive about themselves develop relationships The material in I Know I’m Special! is not structured as a fixed scheme of work and therefore provides flexibility for the teacher. It comes with a free CD-ROM containing the full-colour pupil worksheets, sound files and a PDF of the book.
