God’s Book of Comfort Amy Boucher Pye delves into the third section of the book of Isaiah, welcoming us to engage with God’s promises to Israel, which bring transformation and renewal: • seeing the hints of Christ in an ancient prophecy • learning to place God at the top of our priorities • finding true comfort and peace in the midst of challenges • experiencing the outlandish love of the Father • learning to live in the light of eternity. Miriam Like her better-known sibling Moses, Miriam shared in the epic events which saw the birth of Israel as a nation (more than 1300 years before Christ). This month, as we share Miriam's journey, we will consider the challenges she encountered and the amazing victories she experienced. We will see that although we may not have the musical and leadership abilities which Miriam had we certainly have a calling to worship the Lord from the depth of our hearts and to be a godly influence on the lives of those around us
