Russian Contemporary Language Bible

The publisher, Bible Society in Russia, comment as follows: 'The Contemporary Russian Version of the Bible (CRV), which was published for the first time in 2011, is remarkable for accurate rendering of the sense of Holy Scripture, combined with clarity and intelligibility of interpretation. One of the main goals of this translation is to reflect semantic, stylistic, genre and artistic variety of books of the Bible in the modern literary language. The translation is based on the best editions of the original texts of the Old and New Testaments. Latest achievements in Biblical studies have been used here.
