WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? It’s a question often levelled at the arrogant, the self-righteous, or the opinionated: ‘Who do you think you are?’ As Christians, we could ask the same question of ourselves. Who are we now that we have decided to follow Jesus? Are we failing to benefit from the privileges of being a believer? Are we shirking some of our responsibilities? This issue gives us the opportunity to consider what being transformed through Christ actually means. How it has the potential to positively impact our behaviour, our relationships, and mental well-being. So as we explore who we are ‘in Christ’, may we be able to answer confidently that our identity is safe and secure as a child of God. In Him we have found our true sense of purpose.
